Ages
VBX is for children ages 4 through 6th Grade (as of 9/1/24). Younger children may attend if a parent is volunteering. Hours
VBX begins at 9:00am (drop-off as early as 8:30) and concludes at 12:00pm each day (June 3-7) at LVfirst United Methodist Church (395 W. Crogan Street). Registration/daily check-in will be at the Welcome Center entrance. All participants must be accompanied into the building by an adult for check-in! Theme of the Day
Each day, the children are invited to participate in the party theme of the day to show their spirit throughout the week of VBX. The themes can be found on the daily tabs on the Home Page. Mission Project
This year we'll be supporting our local Ministry Partners: The Lawrenceville Co-Op, Village of Hope, Nothing but the Truth, Grace Arbor and Family Promise all of which minister to local families. We are asking children to bring one or more of the items listed on each day's tab on the Home Page. Daily Offering A daily monetary offering supporting local missions will be taken at drop-off each morning. |
Snacks/Allergies
We will provide a snack and water each day. If your child cannot have the provided snack due to allergies, we will offer an alternative snack of applesauce, raisins, or fruit cups or you may send in a separate snack for your child on that day. We ask that a substitution and/or sending in of an alternate snack only be made because of allergies. Monday - Mini-Oreos Tuesday - Chex Mix Wednesday - Pringles and Apple Sauce Thursday - Skinny Pop (Goldfish for PK/K) and Fruit Snacks Friday - Popsicles and Pretzels *Only brands that are not processed with nuts will be used. All snacks are dairy free except for Goldfish. Biblical Content

Families are invited to attend our our closing celebration at 11:30 on Friday. We would love to have you come celebrate with us! Children will need to sit with their classes for the closing celebration. Upon conclusion, you can check your participants out from the back of the Family Center as usual. A highlight video will be available Friday afternoon! Additionally we invite you to join us on Sunday at 9:30 & 11 as the kids will be singing their VBX songs during our Sunday services! |

Security Policy
Adults will be required to escort children in/out each day. The person picking up the child will be required to have the corresponding pick-up card or be listed on the information sheet as an authorized person to pick up the child. Unknown persons MUST present ID. NOTE: On the first day of VBX, your child(ren) will receive a wristband with their group color and family number to wear throughout the week and will be matched to the security card at pick-up. You will receive cards and wristbands on the first day of VBX so please allow a few extra minutes to check in on Monday. Thank you for your cooperation.
LVfirst is a Safe Sanctuaries Church and all Kids Zone volunteers are required to have a background check and abide by our Safe Sanctuary Policies.
Your children may be photographed or video recorded for Church purposes.
